A-LEGACY SHETLANDS located in historical town of Columbus, Texas 80 miles outside of Houston, Texas off Interstate I-10 established 2006 at this location. In 2005 we showed our first shetlands at Regional Area V show placing high in both yearly mare and stallion classes with the Rock E Bloodlines. Years previously we raised and showed Miniature Horses with some of the top bloodlines in the nation. During our 10 years of showing we retired with 7 National Champion mares, 2 National Champion Geldings, 2 Stallions, and several foals on both the AMHR and AMHA circuits.
Little did we know that the two yearling shetlands from Mardi Gra Rock "E" would change our destination.
A-Legacy Shetlands now strives for perfection, confirmation and movement, with some of the strongest bloodlines in our breeding stock. Top Broodmares have been hand picked to achieve our legacy.
